Ready to Read, The Kalamazoo Public Library, and the Vicksburg District Library held a Party in the Park at the Vicksburg Historic Village this morning. Bike Friendly Kalamazoo Founder Paul Selden and Vicksburg Village President Bill Adams delivered cash and food totaling more than $350 to South County Community Services Director Danna Downing and Generous Hands Executive Director Sheri Louis today. The donations were gathered during Vicksburg’s inaugural Fall Bike Celebration. The ladies were also given commemorative tee shirts.
We enjoyed the Village of Vicksburg Veterans Recognition program at the Vicksburg Community Center this morning. The room was packed. It’s nice to know the Village of Vicksburg and America still appreciate our veterans. Thank you.
