Downtown Getting Upgrades

Downtown Vicksburg, after the infrastructure construction project moves through, will have a whole new look and feel. The new streetscapes will feature wider sidewalks with more outdoor seating, new plantings, and improved pedestrian and traffic flow. Oswalt Park will also be undergoing a new facelift to better accommodate the look and feel of our new downtown. The new design will better facilitate downtown events such as art displays and food truck events. Things will get messy in the downtown area later this summer, but the end result will better serve the growing Village of Vicksburg for years to come.
