- Paving The Way To Sustainability Grant COUNCIL ACTION ITEM:
- Village Manager has secured funding to offer grants to local businesses impacted by our construction process. There are 20 local businesses that submitted the appropriate paperwork for this grant. Many businesses indicated that they had not been impacted and requested the dollars be distributed to those most impacted. A criteria was utilized which identified the businesses impacted by a multitude of factors (Financially, length of construction, parking, walk-in retail customer, appointment customers, etc) and 4 levels of grant receipts were established. The grants range from $1,000.00 to $4,500.00. A total of $56,000.00 was distributed to 20 local businesses impacted by the infrastructure project construction.
