VICKSBURG OLD CAR FESTIVAL? WE HOPE SO!

A recent announcement by the organizers of the Vicksburg Old Car Festival that the Car Show will happen in June has social media and the news media buzzing. While the Village of Vicksburg hopes the event does take place, there are some additional steps yet to be taken. The organizers have yet to submit an event permit application to the Village that requires approval by our Village Council. That application will require a plan to meet all county and state restrictions in effect at the time of the event and the organizer’s plan to monitor and to ensure all safety requirements are met. The Village will work with organizers in every way possible to make an event possible, but we will insist that all state and county health and safety requirements are met.
