A request for a variance from Scott Moore at 4015 E ‘X’ Ave, Vicksburg, MI 49097, PPN: 14-24-380-060 seeking relief from Vicksburg Zoning Ordinance Section 82-691(5), to construct an accessory structure (freestanding solar panels) in the front yard, when accessory structures are only permitted in the rear yard.

- Paving The Way To Sustainability Grant COUNCIL ACTION ITEM:
- Village Manager has secured funding to offer grants to local businesses impacted by our construction process. The grants would be awarded up to $2500 for eligible businesses, with an emphasis on the businesses On Prairie St. (Between Richardson and Michigan Ave) and Main St. (Between Prairie and Washington St.). Timeline: Sept. 20 Council Approval, Sept. 21 Grant Application Distributed, Oct. 1 Application Turn-in Deadline, Oct. 4 Council approval for distribution of funds, Oct 11 Funds distributed.
Staff Recommendation: A motion to be made to support and approve the village manager to administer the Paving the Way to Sustainability Grant opportunity for local businesses impacted by the infrastructure project.
