10. Village Council Action Items

 

1. Purchase a 2009 Full Size Dump/Plow Truck from the City of Kalamazoo. This unit has a new salter already attached, a diesel engine with low hours, and very reliable.  The cost is $20,000.00.  A new unit would cost $190,000.00.  Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval for the Village Manager to purchase this snowplow from the City of Kalamazoo.  The money to purchase the snowplow has been saved within the CIP savings.
2. Approval of Digital Sign for new Municipal Building. Competitive bid were received from 3 companies and staff is recommending that a motion, support and approval for the Village Manager be approved to enter a contract with the Sign Center for an amount not to exceed $36,000.00. This money come from the 2023-2024 FY budget and an amendment will be presented during the 2^nd qrt amendments in January 2024.
3. Angels Crossing Golf Cart Lease agreement (3 year until 2026). Competitive bids were solicited and staff is recommending that a motion, support, and approval for the Village Manager to enter into a contract with US Club Cars for an amount not to exceed $75,600.00.
