- Resolution 11062023-1: A resolution to approve storing documentation electronically (virtual) in the manner the State of Michigan legislation permits local municipalities to store. This will significantly reduce the need for indefinite hard copy storage of documentation for eternity. We anticipate receiving within the next 3 months a bid to convert our historical hard copy documentation virtually.
- Military Banner Policy: A motion, support and approval for a military banner policy that will govern the placement of banner to honor active duty or honorably discharged members of the United States Armed Forces to be displayed in our core downtown May 1 – May 30th and Oct 15 – Nov 15th of each year.
- Electronic Fire Monitoring Contract for new municipal building: 4 year agreement, no charge the first year and $2100.00 per year in years 2, 3 and 4.
- US Golf Cars: This action supports the purchase of 4 separate utility carts at Angels Crossing Golf Club. These carts have been in leased in past years and this opportunity to purchase the utility carts, at the price offered, is an advantage to continuing to lease carts. If the Village purchases all 4 carts listed, US Golf Carts will discount the total price by $10,000.00. Village staff recommends a motion, support and approval to purchase the 4 listed used utility carts for a total of $26,235.60. This is a $20K plus savings if we were to purchase new utility carts.
