11. Village Council Action Items:
a. Brady Township & Village of Vicksburg Sewer Agreement: This agreement is a franchise/consent agreement that involves 10 residential properties within Brady Township that have received utility (9 Water and 1 Sewer) services from the Village of Vicksburg from decades without a formal agreement in place. Brady Township’s attorney worked with our attorney to author this document. It is required. Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval for the Village President to sign this agreement on behalf of the Village of Vicksburg.
b. Vicksburg Depot Museum exterior mason repair: Multiple areas on the exterior brick wall of the Depot has been identified to be repaired and improved. This issue was identified in 2024. This project will be overseen by Mike Fredrick as an owner-agent representation. The total cost is not to exceed $18,500.00. We were able to secure a grant in the amount of $12,500.00 from Canadian Railroad to offset the expense. The additional $6K will come from our General Fund. Staff recommends a motion, support, and approval.
c. Angels Crossing Golf Course: Adding to 2 additional light poles in the parking lot. Fredrick Construction will oversee the project as an owner rep and the total project cost will not exceed $16,000.00. The lighting is needed to illuminate the parking lot from the mid-point to the East as there is currently no lighting in that area. Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval for the Village Manager to enter into this agreement. Esper Electric was the low bid for electrical services in a competitive bid process. The total for the 2 solar lights, and 2 18 ft poles is $8,110.00
