Vicksburg governmental meetings are now held at the new municipal building. Entrance to the building is off of Richardson St, just North of the Vicksburg Water Tower. Due to demolition of the old building, there is limited parking. Over-flow parking can be located on Kalamazoo Ave. or Davis St.

- Village Council Action Items:
- Approve the Village Manager to sign a contract with State Industrial Product (SIP) Corp in the amount of $1,471.23. SIP will install odor reducing agents and systems between the Highway St and Spruce St lift Station, where minor, yet unpredictable odors have been noticeable for the past 9-12 months. See summary memo in packet.
- Approval of the Village Manager to sign a contract with Taplin Environmental to provide CCTV work on our infrastructure sewer system. They will film and document the conditions of 10% of our sewer system. This is the 2nd year of a 10-year proposed plan. This is for 2024-2025 FY Budget and approval is needed to schedule the work to occur after July 1, 2024.
- Approval of the Village Manager to sign contract with Truck & Trailer Specialties to complete repairs to 2009 Village plow truck that was purchased from the City of Kalamazoo in the Fall of 2023. The repairs/replacement will be a new dump body, lighting, back-up alarm system, stainless steel rear pillars, new salt release half Y chute, and sand blast front hitch and bumper. Contract not to exceed $28,500.00.
- Re-approving Industrial Text Amendments: Village Council is requested to re-approve the proposed text amendments from the January 29th, 2024 council meeting. See summary memo in packet.
- Resolution 03042024-01 to waive conflict of interest regarding negotiation of sewer contract with South County Sewer and Water Authority. Our respective attorneys, Catherine Kaufman and Rob Thall, are partners within the same law firm. This involves the agreement in place for Sprinkle Road and negotiations for an agreement once the new force main is in place.

- Asst Mgr Sanderson: Update and status of 513 E. Prairie St. demolition.
- Village Clerk: Presentation updating Village Council on the Home Repair Grant Program for Village residents in the 2023 construction season. A total of 8 families were assisted with these grant dollars totaling
- Village Council Trustee applications: Has been announce at multiple public meetings, posted on our website with fill-in the blank application, and on our social media. (Mallery)
- Village Citizen Academy applications: We have received 4 applications to date and have a goal of 12, with a max of 16 open spots. Starts on April 17th 6:30pm – 8:30 pm each Wednesday for 6 weeks. (Mallery)
