10. Village Council Action Items

• • Southeast and Southwest sections of the West Prairie Street bridge walkway and handrails repair: Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval for the Village Manager to enter into a contract with Fredrick Construction to make the listed repairs no to exceed $14,036.00.
  • Angels Crossing irrigation well house pump purchase and additional surge protection and cellular alarm dialer: The irrigation pump for the watering system at Angels Crossing Golf Course was back-fed due to a contractor hitting buried power-lines in CB McDonald Way. The contractor did not request Misdig to stake the property.  (We will be submitting to their insurance for reimbursement of this expense).  The cost of the irrigation pump is $26,542.00 and the surge protection and cellular alarm dialer is $7,240.00.  The total request and recommendation is to approve the village manager to enter into a contract with Peerless Midwest for an amount not to exceed $33,782.00.
