- 2nd Street: There is a small portion of 2nd St. which does not have any pavement. New pavement: Lakeland Corp $12,427.50 Local St. Fund
- Kenyon St. (2nd to 3rd Street): This is the last portion of roadway in the Village that is not currently paved. $10,957.50 Lakeland Corp
- Kalamazoo Ave: Raymond Street to Vine Street: Crack Fill, Chip Seal & Fog Seal $40,004 Major Street Fund

12. Village Council Action Items (Cont)
- Police Staffing:
- Chief, Sergeant, 4 Officers, 1 School Resource Officer, ADD* 1 additional officer who will be FTE and new shift hours of (1pm-1am), as well as cover other shifts to prevent overtime. The investment of 1 additional officer is calculated at TOP Pay level. Total is $85,000.00.
- Police CIP
- Police Patrol Vehicle 2025 Dodge Durango State of Michigan MIDeals pricing: $43,213 for vehicle and total outfitting $12,000.00. Total is $55,213.00.
- Officer Portable Radios (8): APXN50 Motorola will replace over 15-year-old portable radios that are no longer serviced by Motorola. Total is $43,849.44 for 8 ($5,481.18 per)
- New Police AXON tasers. These will replace 15-year-old tasers that can no longer be serviced. The total price is spread over the next 5 years and is $5,732.04 per year. (Total $34,397.20)
- ClearGov Transparency Center: Approve the Village Manager signing a 3 year agreement with ClearGov for ClearGov Transparency Center at the following cost:
- 2025: $5,800.00
- 2026: $5,974.00
- 2027: $6,153.22
- DPW CIP:
- Annual Well & Pump testing report Village Well #6. $38,975.00 Water Fund.
- DPW New 12K Two Post lift that will be used to raise DPW vehicles up to perform maintenance and repair on. This will replace a 30-year-old lift that is beyond repair. $9,325.00
- DPW Mechanic and Hand Tools: $8500.00
- Resolution #20250519-01 Decertification/Vacation of 2nd Street, South of Draper. There is no road at this location – it is located where our Village is and we need to remove it from the Act 51 listing.
- Staff is requesting support and approval to consolidate our sewer and water reserve dollars into an insured account at Kalsee Credit Union, which we have other Village dollars at. These funds are not moved and required by State legislation. The total amount is slightly over $250K and would be transferred from Kal County State Bank.
