11. Village Council Action Items:
a. Closed Session: To review legal written opinion from Village Attorney under Section 8 (1) (h) of the Open Meetings Act, pursuant to section 13 (1) (g) of the Freedom of Information Act.

c. Vicksburg Park and Recreation Master Plan: A public hearing was held on December 22, 2025 (During the Parks and Rec Committee meeting) reference the proposed updated Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Parks and Recreation committee unanimously recommends the Village Council to support and approve the proposed Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Staff is recommending a motion, support, and roll call vote on the Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Plan.
d. Southwest Michigan First Chamber: Represent Vicksburg DDA Businesses and provide Chamber Connect at a BURG Days event, Town Hall Business Forum, two round table exercises, a Monday Midday Mixer, and Mid-Year Business Check-In. The DDA Board unanimously supported and recommends the Village Council to approve the $8,000 investment. The Funds will come from the DDA. Staff is recommending a motion, support, and approval for the Village Manager to enter into this agreement with Southwest Michigan First Chamber. First meeting will be Monday, January 12, 2026.
