The Environmentally Friendly Mill Project

There are several structures on The Mill property that will not be part of the current redevelopment. But rather than bulldoze the building and send it to the landfill, Paper City Development sought to repurpose the building. Meet Chris Wallace owner of Wallace Auto in Manitou Beach, Michigan. Chris bought the building to expand his business. Chris says, “Vicksburg may be excited about the opportunity to repurpose this approximately 11,000 square foot building, but we are equally thrilled to keep this structure in use and expand our business.” Chris was so excited about this project he convinced his friend Jay Smith to drive all the way from New York to help take a piece of Vicksburg back to Manitou Beach.
