10. Village Council Action Items
    1. Village Manager presents his recommendation of additional responsibilities for Scott Sanderson and Michelle Morgan. With support and approval from Village Council, Scott Sanderson would be promoted to Asst Village Manager/Police Chief and Michelle Morgan to Director of Finance/Treasurer.  Village Manager is recommending a motion, support, and approval of this recommendation.

 

11. Village Manager Report (Mallery)
    1. Status of upcoming utility projects:
       1. Sprinkle Road: EDA Grant ($3.7M), USDA funding for balance: Application will be submitted this quarter. 2023-2024 project
       2. Lead Line and Water Main Project: North of the Middle School neighborhoods. County $1.2 million grant. $387K Village ARPA dollars. Balance USDA loan application in progress. 2024 project
       3. Kalamazoo, Main, S. Michigan, Highway St Lead Line and Water Main replacement project: 2024-2025 project grant request being submitted to State of Michigan by May 1, 2023.
       4. Notice of Planning Commission/DDA Board position open: Must be Village Resident.
